Spring Forward Hoppy Wheat
Brewed: 3/12/2017 Kegged: 4/1/2017
Driving home one day, I decided to stop in and check it out. At first I had not planned to buy anything, but as I was looking around, I decided to go ahead and put together a quick recipe and help support a local business.
It just so happened that this impulse purchase occurred the weekend before Daylight Savings began. Since I almost always brew on Sunday, the beer would be made the day that the clocks get set ahead.
I thought "Spring Forward" made for a good name considering the timing.

The malts and yeast I got basically matched Summer Lovin' American Wheat.
I grabbed Columbus hops, which were also used in Summer Lovin', but then Denali Hops caught my eye.
All of a sudden, I created a new beer recipe. It was more of a pale ale than a traditional American Wheat.
For more information on this beer, see Sheppy's Blog: Spring Forward.

Brewing Notes
3/14/2017 Brewed Sunday. Low og, but ok with that. Fermenting hard right now.
3/16/2017 Think the main fermentation is almost done. I'll let it finish up for about another week before I keg it. 70 degrees
