Where'd My ManGo Wheat
Brewed: 11/5/2017 Kegged: 11/20/2017

When I asked her what she would like to brew, her answer was "A Mango Wheat".
Well, when Beer Model speaks, people listen. I put together a Mango Wheat beer recipe.
Actually, I went with the standard base I use for all my fruit wheat beers, the world famous Summer Lovin' Wheat. Mango puree on the secondary.
As you might imagine, the beer in light in flavor, allowing mango fruit flavor to shine through. Delicious and sessionable.
The name of the beer was picked by the Beer Model. Not sure if it has special meaning to her or if she just could only think of one pun. Just for the record, I would have called it "Mango Lovin' Wheat", which isn't nearly as good as her decision.

Brewing Notes
11/4/2017 The Beer Model and I Bought ingredients Thursday night. Brewing today.
11/5/2017 Brew day went very well. OG 1.046. About perfect as the Mangos are not in there yet.
11/10/2017 Fermentation is basically done. Accidentally took a sample (meant to pull from Killer Cricket). I got 5 brix, which according to my conversion program puts the gravity at 1.005. Pretty sure it isn't quite that low, but maybe. Tasted good.
11/14/2017 I'm hoping to Mango this wheat tonight. We'll see.
11/15/2017 Racked into secondary on Mango Puree last night. Beer is tasting good. I did not take a gravity reading.
11/20/2017 Kegged today. Added about half the mango flavoring. 1.010 FG. Tastes good so far. Hope to try the carbonated beer next weekend.
11/25/2017 Tried a 6oz sample. Great mango aroma. Just a bit tart. Carbonation seems about perfect. We'll see what the beer model thinks.
11/26/2017 The Beer Model Beer Master likes the Mango Wheat as well.
12/3/2017 The beer is perfect right now.
12/10/2017 Holy mango Batman. Overshadows that Summer Lovin. This is awesome. Especially if you like mango flavor.
