Dudocs Best Bitter

Brewed: 3/21/2020 Kegged: 4/3/2020

March 2020. Historical pandemic going on.

dudocs.jpgSocial Distancing are forcing schools closed and many of us have to work at home. It is a little surprising at how much "cabin fever" I am feeling after only a week of limited seclusion.

I felt like a brew day with my friend "Doc" and my friend "Du" was needed. They agreed, so, we scheduled one.

The current guidelines from the CDC is to not gather in groups greater than 10, and 3 is less than 10. Even with wives, the total was low.

No handshakes. None of us are coughing or sneezing. We have lots of sanitizer all over the place.

A low risk gathering.

Of course, brew days with these two mean that the simpler the recipe, the better. They distract me.

So, I made an extract beer.

Nothing special. Extract. A little crystal. Some EKG and some bittering hops.

Nice low alcohol but flavorful.

BAM!!
