Lithuanian Strong Pale Ale
Brewed: 8/23/2020 Kegged: 8/27/2020
Late summer of 2020, I had been playing around with a Lithuanian Farmhouse yeast that I got from Great Frontier brewing company.

I had already brewed Sveikas Lithuanian Farmhouse Ale and Lithuanian Lovin' Wheat.
The yeast is sort of amazing. It ferments hot and quick. I fermented high 80's / low 90's for a couple of days and kegged on day 4 or 5 after brew day.
Even at these high temperatures, the flavor is fairly clean, but it does impart some peppery and citrus fruit esters. It has really produced some nicely flavored beers.
I noted that I thought the citrus fruit of the yeast would compliment citrus hops. Earlier in 2020, I had brewed a homebrew version of Colorado Strong, which had lots of cascade and centennial hops in it.
I decided to try that recipe with this farmhouse yeast.
